Hughes to Present at APA Conference Mobile Workshop
PPG Principal Keenan Hughes to Discuss Redevelopment in Asbury Park, NJ at APA National Planning Conference Mobile Workshop
PPG Principal Keenan Hughes will be a presenter in an event that is part of the American Planning Association's National Planning Conference focusing on the redevelopment of the waterfront and nearby areas in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The "Asbury Park Redevelopment Walking Tour" on Monday May 8, 2017 will also feature Michele Alonso from the City of Asbury Park and Woo Kim from Wallace Roberts & Todd, who along with Mr. Hughes will discuss redevelopment financing, zoning, community involvement, design standards and other issues with workshop attendees. Keenan has directed Phillips Preiss Grygiel's work over the past few years in Asbury Park advising master redeveloper iStar Financial on planning, zoning and market issues. This event will continue a tradition of PPG principals presenting some of the firm's notable projects to a national audience, which have included mobile workshops for its work in Hoboken, NJ, Wildwood Crest, NJ and Wilmington, DE. The 2017 National Planning Conference will be held May 6-9 in New York City, with programs in the city and throughout surrounding states.
